oh my god ok but like every time eliot-the-mercenary-killer says he knows certain things because he dated a woman in that profession– like, perfect example, he’s trying to find a model-worthy outfit for parker and he’s like “the A line drape and the empire waistline is nice but the neckline is a little weak … what? I dated a lot of models”. do you know what that means?? that means that he LISTENED TO THEM. When they were talking about the thing that they were passionate about, he LISTENED TO THEM AND PAID ATTENTION. He REMEMBERED AND LEARNED THE THINGS THEY TOLD HIM BECAUSE IT WAS IMPORTANT TO THEM. DON’T LOOK AT ME.

I love how even though this show has ended, people are still noticing interesting things about it
how 2 dress for cold weather
1. take ur pants off
2. get back into bed
do you ever put on a really nice but kind of daring outfit and at first you’re like “HELL YEAH” but then you look in the mirror a few times and start being like “hell… yeah….” and then you turn to the side and adjust the top and frown and be like “aw hell” and finally just change into like jeans and a tee bc one day you will wear that rockin outfit but today is not that day
there is the sweetest and kindest older gentleman who I see every week when I do coffee and yesterday he came up to me and said “You know, I look forward to this time every week, just to see your outfit, because you have the most interesting and beautiful style and you carry it off very well.” and he was so sincere and lovely and I just about died. and i love it when older people like me because it’s like you’ve lived so much longer and experienced everything and you think I’M cool?? ??? i feel all warm and fuzzy
UPDATE SO APPARENTLY he used to be a male model “back in the 50s and 60s before he found Jesus”, and he loves fashion a lot and that’s why he notices people’s clothing. !!!!!!!

- So I'm terrible at replying to people (sorry @castles-and-palaces! I'm working on a letter for you!). And I think someone asked me one or two of these ages ago, so in apology I'm going to answer all of them. Hope you enjoy!
- Earl Grey: I'm Southern so I make both hot tea and cold sweet tea. If it's hot I usually just add some honey or a bit of sugar. If it's cold sweet tea made with an English breakfast verity then I prefer that it have just a bit of lemon and so much sugar that you can feel the diabetes coming on. If it's cold sweet tea made with lady grey then no lemon and cut the sugar in half.
- Lady grey: Goodness, probably jeans, black cashmere turtleneck, black ballet flats.
- Irish breakfast: You mean besides all of them? I especially want to see France, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
- Chamomile: Pride and Prejudice
- Peppermint: Christmas and my birthday. My birthday is in spring, which is my favorite season.
- Milk: *sigh*. I think so. My skin definitely reacts to some things. I think I'm allergic to sodium laurel sulfate, but it's never been diagnosed. I thank God every day I'm not allergic to chocolate!
- Sugar: Aw! He was a very sweet friend that I silently crushed on for ages! Nothing ever came of it and I eventually had to let it go.
- Honey: Boring! It was a text to my husband telling him that our basement was dry (it had been raining) and to please pick up some extra things from the grocery store.
- Green tea: Snuggling with my husband & daughter.
- Bubble tea: (What is bubble tea anyways?) Um, well, roller coaster rides scare the crap out of me. I refuse to go on them, so pretty much anything else.
- Mug: All the time/everywhere! That's what travel mugs are for!
- Chai: Usually I order chi tea (I can't seem to make a good cup at home) or a white chocolate mocha which I discovered after reading This, You Protect by owlet.
- Oolong: Doing a good job raising my daughter, having a solid and wonderful marriage and hopefully working at something that matters to me and is fruitful.
- Herbal: Sorry, I'm not comfortable putting my face out there into the great beyond! I will say that I have dark blonde hair, brown eyes and pale skin.
- Coffee: With sugar and lots of cream! I almost turn it into a latte. Or, if I can't/don't want caffeine I'll make a cup of decaf and add hot chocolate (Swiss Miss) for a caffeine free mocha.</p>
I hope you wake up early enough in the morning to put on your favorite outfit and make your favorite breakfast. I hope you find your skin clear and hair healthy. I hope you’re content with the way your body looks. I hope you find happiness in small things today. I hope that, even with your ups and downs, you are content with yourself.
i keep reading all these headcanons about human!impala (dark-haired dude with green eyes, vixen in long black dress, etc.) and not one of them sticks because all i can image is a big, muscly black guy in his late 30s dressed head-to-toe in black leather that refuses to be called anything but ‘Baby’ by an alarmed yet aroused dean winchester
It’s not Christmas without this perfect rendition of ‘Carol of the Bells.’
